In my own practice, the nude human form is used as a vehicle for expression through my ongoing fascination with paint and a stripped-back aesthetic. Painting a nude model from life has encouraged me to consider the abstract forms of the human body and the way its contours can take on an almost lyrical quality.

In this workshop, suitable for all skill levels, we will explore painting a nude model from observation using oil paints. You will be guided step by step through developing strong compositions, refining your colour-mixing skills, and building confidence in your paint application.
